Top Summer Camps 2024

Situated in the lush foothills of Saratoga, Montalvo Arts Center is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of all people through the arts. No matter what your child’s interests may be, we have a camp to engage and inspire them!

We are excited to present youth day camps in a range of artistic disciplines for students ages 6–14 this summer, led by professional artists active in the disciplines they are teaching. In a supportive environment, your child will learn to flex their creative muscles as they make new friends
and discover unique ways of expressing themselves—all within the natural scenery and fresh air of our gorgeous 175-acre grounds.

THEATRE & DANCE
Is your child an up-and-coming star? For our drama students, these camps teach acting, singing, and dancing skills, in addition to character development, dialogue, and staging, all while working collaboratively with other actors to tell an amazing story on stage. Our dancers will begin with the basics of K-pop dance and end their session able to bust a move to their favorite songs. Every camp culminates in an original performance for friends and family!

ARTISTIC EXPLORATION
Comics, cupcakes, ceramics, sculpture, and sewing… find your child's niche and give them a head start on their path to mastering a variety of creative art forms. Students will learn to work with their hands while gaining an understanding of the aesthetics of visual arts, design, and color. At the end of camp, don't miss the showcase of their work where you can see how they've put their inspiration into action.

ENGINEERING
Roll up those sleeves and build a full-sized treehouse on our beautiful grounds! Working together, campers will discover the basics of architecture while learning about tools, safety, and construction. They'll work together with a skilled instructor and each other as they design and create their structure from scratch—and you'll be invited to check it out yourself at the end of camp!

As a part of their Montalvo Arts Center experience, all summer campers will have the opportunity to explore and learn about the native plants and animals around the property and its Santa Clara County Park trails. Our belief is that the arts foster greater social and emotional capacity in kids of all ages, and we are committed to providing fun and high-quality experiences for every skill level as we celebrate the creative spirit, engage the imagination, and develop the artist in all of us.
